PM highlights fragility of Opposition pact at Agriculture Club launch - The Malaysian Insider


SUNGAI PETANI, Dec 17 — Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak commented on the fragility of the Opposition pact at the launch of the Agriculture Graduates Entrepreneurs Club in Sungai Petani today according to a Bernama Online report.

The prime minister pointed out that the Opposition is bound only by their hatred of Barisan Nasional, but are divided by their ideological differences which is proving to be their biggest problem. Najib predicts that the Opposition pact will not last long due to their differences which cannot be bridged.

Datuk Seri Najib (picture) explained that the BN coalition is strong as the parties cooperate well and are bound by a single policy that is accepted by all the component parties.

The prime minister explained that the Opposition had faced serious problems before the last general elections due to the ideological differences amongst the component parties. He also highlighted that the Umno party members are all inspired by the recent Umno general assembly, and are ready to face the next general elections
